On Sunday, the New York Yankees released what they are calling their “Summer Camp Roster” that will be heading to New York for “Spring Training 2.0” The roster of 58 players will report to camp at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday. The roster is as follows:

Ahead of the roster release, the Yankees also made the following roster moves:
- RHP Luis Severino placed on the 60-Day IL (recovering from TJ surgery)
- Signed INF Matt Duffy (#18) to a minor league contract
- Signed C Max McDowell (#78) to a minor league contract
- Released RHP Dan Otero (#36) and re-signed him to a minor league contract
- RHP Domingo German remains on the restricted list.
As listed above, the roster released today will be the active roster for Yankees “Summer Camp.” This roster will be cut in half to 30 players ahead of Opening Night on July 23rd. However, the remaining 30 players will remain at a training site as the “taxi squad” for teams in case of injury, sickness, etc. This squad must be located within a 100-mile radius of the big league club for the entirety of the season. The Yankees have not yet released where their taxi squad will be located.
