Rosters should be announced any time within the next week, but we’re trying to project team rosters so fans can get an idea of who to expect on their local teams. This data is based on the Spring Training roster provided by the Yankees. Some players can be seen multiple times within a roster to denote they play multiple positions.
Some teams will carry more players than others, with AAA Scranton carrying the most after Spring Training and some off-season acquisitions. There are some concerns like in Extended Spring/FCL where there’s a gap at 1B, and other teams have little depth at 1B/3B. Overall, 1B and 3B are concerns throughout the system in regards to depth, especially 1B. There are a number of prospects that stand out from the pack at those positions like Andres Chaparro and Eric Wagaman, but they’re now in the upper levels of the system.
This year will be our first stateside look at prospects like Roderick Arias and Keiner Delgado as well, as they should start the season in Extended Spring, then migrate to the FCL team once that season starts some time in June. There are a few questions with players like Florial, who is out of options and others who have been on the IL like Nicio Rodriguez, Bies, Voliva,
