Earlier this week we took a look at seven prospects that the New York Yankees could lose in the major league phase of the Rule 5 draft. But they also have to worry about losing several prospects in the minor league phase of the draft.
However, unlike the MLB phase, players selected in the MiLB part of the draft do not have the same roster restrictions. That means that if the Yankees lose a player in that minor league portion of the draft, they are gone forever.
