Hi, what are you looking for?

Caleb Smith pitched six solid innings, but faltered the seventh Tuesday night. (Robert M. Pimpsner)

Another day, Another Double Digit hit Victory

Key Story:

It sure seems as if the Riverdogs have broken out of the offensive funk that plagued the start of their season.  Every started had a hit as they knocked out twelve hits in thirty four at bats.  The Riverdogs have won four of five and are now eleven for nine on the season.  If they keep hitting like this expect that win total to keep climbing.

Captain Clutch of the Game:

Caleb Smith dominated the game and that word dominate doesn’t even put into context his night.  He only went six innings but in those six innings he struck out thirteen players.  When he wasn’t striking guys out he was getting ground balls or picking guys off first base.

Golden Sombrero of the Game:

Gosuke Katoh went one for four with a double and two strikeouts.   On the season he is striking out 42.6% of the time.  That doesn’t count these two strikeouts either.  Not good.
