The Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, are thrilled to announce the return of one of the most popular promotions at ARM & HAMMER Park. Bark at the Park, presented by Dogs & Cats Rule, will take place on Sunday, August 14 when the Thunder host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
2016 marks the tenth year of Bark at the Park, presented by Dogs & Cats Rule.
“We’ve long been the most dog-friendly team in minor league baseball,” said Thunder GM/COO Jeff Hurley. “We are thrilled to have a great partner like Dogs & Cats Rule to celebrate one of the most fun promotions we do on an annual basis.”
Thunder fans can bring their well-behaved dog to the park free of charge and enjoy the game. Dogs are admitted for free if they sit on their owner’s lap or by their feet, however, if they require more space, a child priced seat may be purchased.
Bark at the Park will also feature a Pet Products Display on the main concourse and a “Canine Cash Scramble” on the field after the game. The Canine Cash Scramble will give one lucky fan and their dog the opportunity to go out on the field for a chance to win $10,000. The contest will involve the dog attempting to choose the “Lucky Ball” out of one hundred numbered tennis balls that will be spread out on the infield grass.
Fans may register for the Canine Cash Scramble at the Dogs & Cats Rule table on the main concourse on August 14.
