Bird Delivers Lone Scoripons RBI in Loss

Yankees prospect players struggled to get on base in yesterdays game against the Surprise Saguaros, which resulted in a 2-1 loss for the Scottsdale Scorpions.

Covering the infield, Greg Bird played first while Dante Bichette Jr. found himself at third base. Bird went 1-4  in his at bats, contributing an RBI. Bichette batted 2-4.

Tyler Austin played left field, he had two at bats but struggled to connect, while Aaron Judge remained in right field, batting 0-3.

Birds RBI came in the first inning after a ground ball to center field, bringing home teammate, L.J. Mazzilli.

The Scorpions will return to play tomorrow against the Glendale Desert Dogs. The Scorpions will play as the away team, with the game beginning at 12:35 p.m. MST.
