Both GCL Teams Lose

GCL Team One:

Key Story:

Austin DeCarr got the start and struck out everyone.  The 2014 draft pick went one and two thirds inning and struck out four batters.  He did allow a run one four hits thou.

 

Bichette/Katoh Award:

Alvara Noriega went one for two with a double.

 

Notes:

Eric Jagielo continued his rehab and went hitless in two at bats as he continues to rehab.

 

GCL Team Two:

Key Story:

The pitching failed as a staff they gave up seventeen runs.  Not a very good day as they gave up eighteen hits and they walked eight batters while only striking out four.

 

Bichette/Katoh Award:

Junior Valera went two for four with two doubles.  He easily had the best day of any Yankee today.
