Clarkin’s Worst Start in Riverdog Lost

Key Story:

Ian Clarkin has his worst start of the season.  Clarkin was very hittable  as he gave up eight hits and two walks which led to six runs.  He did strike out six batters which limited some of the damage.  As bad as he was the rest of the team didn’t show up so it wasn’t as if he cost them the game.

Captain Clutch of the Game:

When there are only two hits in a game and only one extra base hit it’s pretty easy to pick a player.  Judge wins the award going one for four with a double.  Not a great day at the plate for the Riverdogs.

Golden Sombrero of the Game:

Rest of the team other than Judge and Tyler Wade who had the other hit.

Long goes tomorrow to look to continue an impressive first season
