Danville Drops Pulaski to Square Series

DANVILLE, Va. – Second baseman Gosuke Katoh had three his and outfielders Carlos Vidal and Frank Frias two apiece, but the Pulaski Yankees (25-20) dropped a 5-1 decision to the Danville Braves (20-23) in Appalachian League play before 1,264 fans at American Legion Field at Dan Daniel Park Saturday night.

Katoh is hitting ,307, Vidal .313 and Frias .303. Right-hander Adonis Ross saw his record drop to 5-2.

The teams will play the rubber game of their three-game series at 4 p,m. Sunday.
