This team keeps winning but the hitters can’t seem to put it all together offensively as a group. Leader on the day is Jerison Lopez who again had a multi-hit game. Lopez went two for four again with a double and two runs scored. Ericson Leonora had a good game going one for two with two walks and RBIs. Miguel Andujar broke out slightly by going one for three with a walk.
Austin Jones again had a double in four at bats today. Out of nine games on this short season he has had a double in five of them. This is a very good start of the season for Jones.
This was a rehab start for Graham Stoneburner. This wasn’t a great start to his rehab start for him as he went two innings today. He gave up six hits on the day and four earned runs while only striking out one batter. Now Stoneburner did have four ground balls which is exactly what he does.
Luis Niebla went four innings to get the win on the day. He struck out three batters while only giving up one hit and a walk. Chaz Hebert came in for an inning and a third and struck out two batters
Greg Bird has been a no show for a few days now. Hopefully he is fine and didn’t get hurt.
Tomorrow the GCL Braves will host the Yankees at noon eastern.
