Don’t Miss These 3 Great Pulaski Yankees Promotions in August

The Pulaski Yankees have saved some of their best promotions for the final month of the 2018 season, giving fans plenty of reasons to come out to see the Yankees a few more times before the season wraps up.

Agriculture Night

The Yankees will host their most anticipated promotion of the summer on August 22nd with Agriculture Night, during which the team will raffle off a live cow at the ballpark. The Yankees will also wear special cow jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game against the Princeton Rays and there will be a petting zoo at Calfee Park. Additionally, the first 250 children 10 and under will receive a mini plush Calf-E doll.

Lee Landers Bobblehead Night

The Pulaski Yankees join the rest of the Appalachian League in honoring League President Lee Landers with a bobblehead giveaway in 2018. The Yanks’ giveaway falls on the final regular-season home game of the season – August 24 – when the team will also recognize Landers with a pre-game ceremony.

Calf-E’s Fight Against Cancer

On August 13, the Yankees will introduce a new take on the team’s annual Pink in the Park promotion with Calf-E’s Fight Against Cancer. The team will highlight a different type of cancer each inning, sharing the story of a player, staff member, or fan who has been affected by that cancer. There will be a dunk tank on the concourse, with proceeds benefiting cancer research.
