Doubleheader: A win and a Lost.

In game one the Yankees beat the Tigers by the score of four to one.  As a team they had 8 hits in 31 at bats.   They only drew one walk compared to seven strikeouts.

Austin Aune rebounded to have the best day.  He went three for four with a double and homerun.   Aune scored two runs and one RBI with a caught stealing.

Yeicok Calderon went one for three with the hit being a homerun.

Pedro Feliciano pitched his one inning without allowing a hit walk or a hit.

Ty Hensley came in after Feliciano and dominated.  He went two and two thirds innings allowing one hit and a walk.  Hensley struck out three batters and got five groundballs.  This was the final start until instructions for Hensley and it was his best.

Kenedy Agramonte pitched three and a third innings.  He allowed one hit which was a homerun.  Agramonte struck out four batters.

In game two the Yankees lost by the score of five to two.  As a team they only had 5 hits in 26 at bats.  They only struck out four times to three walks.

Yeicok Calderon went one for two with a walk and a strikeout.

Ericson Leonora, Greg Bird and Jerison Lopez all went one for three.  Leonora scored a run and Bird had an RBI.

Hayden Sharp started the second game and went three innings.  He allowed four hits and a walk that led to four runs.  While Sharp did strikeout two batters he didn’t have a great command as he only got four groundballs to three flyball outs.

Luis Niebla came in and went two and a third innings.  He allowed two hits and three walks.  That led to a run and he struck out two batters.

The Yankees will go to the Pirates complex for their 10 am game tomorrow.
