Early Runs Don’t Deter Yankees in Win

The Braves came out and put a three spot on the board before the Yankees even came to the plate.  That didn’t stop them thou as they beat the Braves six to four.  As a team they had 11 hits in 34 at bats to go along with three walks and four strikeouts.

Greg Bird has continued his mashing as he went two for three with a triple and a RBI.

Yeicok Calderon continued his assault on the baseball as he went three for five.  He got a double, a run and RBI to go with a strikeout.

Corby Arbiso got the start and lasted one batter.  He allowed five hits and three earned runs.  He did strike out the one batter.  This wasn’t the way you want to start a rehab assignment.

Daniel Camarena came in and struck out both guys to save Arbiso’s inning and then went another three innings.  He allowed two hits with one being a homerun.  He also struck out one other guy to go along with four groundball outs to three flyball outs.

Brady Lail went three innings and he pitched pretty well as he only allowed two hits.  He struck out one batter and got four grandballs.

Tomorrow the Yankees will go play the Braves at their complex at noon eastern time.
