Hi, what are you looking for?

Dustin Fowler with teh RiverDogs in 2014 (Charleston RiverDogs)

Eight run Eighth for a Riverdog Victory

Key Story:

The Riverdogs had an offensive explosion today with most of the damage coming in the eighth inning.  On the day they knocked out twelve hits and six walks over forty plate appearances.  Every starter had a hit and only one starter John Murphy didn’t score a run, pretty incredible.

Captain Clutch of the Game:

Dustin Fowler went two for five with a double and a homerun.  He had four RBI’s with two runs scored and a strikeout.  I believe Fowler is the breakout prospect for the year.  So far it looks like his $278,000 bonus has been well worth it.

Golden Sombrero of the Game:

Murphy gets it since he was the only player to not score a run which is rough.

Up Next:

Charleston goes up against Savannah with Encinas making his full season debut as he works back from Tommy John.  That game starts at 7 pm.
