First Place RiverDogs Back in a Flash for Three Game Homestand

Thirsty Thursday, Postgame Fireworks, and Speed Painter Tim Decker Highlight the brief but exciting homestand at The Joe


CHARLESTON, SC– Don’t blink or you’ll miss it; the Charleston RiverDogs are back in town for a three-game homestand from June 2-4 that features a Budweiser Thirsty Thursday, a postgame fireworks spectacular on Friday, and a stunning performance from Speed Painter Tim Decker following the night’s on-field action on Saturday at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. Its three chances to see your first-place Charleston RiverDogs as they take on the Kannapolis Intimidators in a three-game series.

Thursday, June 2, 7:05pm: Budweiser Thirsty Thursday: It all kicks off on Thursday night as the RiverDogs get the weekend started early with a Budweiser Thirsty Thursday presented by 95 SX featuring the scintillating tunes of DJ Natty Heavy. Enjoy $1 beers all night at The Ashley View Pub as the RiverDogs take on the Kannapolis Intimidators in the first act of a three-game tilt.

Friday, June 3, 7:05pm: ISHPI Red Shirt Friday/ Home Telecom Postgame Fireworks: Help the RiverDogs honor our military on an ISHPI Red Shirt Friday presented by Mix 96. All fans that wear red can save a buck off their ticket purchase at the gate with the opportunity to donate that dollar to the Wounded Warrior Corps. Come early for a special pregame National Anthem performance from local Charleston band Gravel Road Trio and be sure to stick around after the game for a Home Telecom postgame fireworks spectacular to get the weekend off on the right foot.

Saturday, June 4, 6:05pm: “Saturdays Live at The Joe” Presents Speed Painter Tim Decker: This year’s “Saturdays Live at The Joe” has already featured a formidable lineup of postgame revelry including David “The Bullet” Smith’s human cannonball extravaganza, postgame fan batting practice, Micro Championship Wrestling, and a postgame 1,000 t-shirt toss. In the latest edition, Speed Painter Tim Decker will dazzle fans with the production of three works of art in a matter of minutes showing the speed and finesse rivaled by only the RiverDogs players who will be available to sign pregame autographs on the concourse preceding the night’s finale against Kannapolis.
