Florial Named One of SAL’s Top Prospects of 2017

New York Yankees outfield prospect Estevan Florial is racking up the offseason awards.  The 19-year old was named the #2 prospect in the South Atlantic League for 2017 by Baseball America.

The young left-handed hitter spent the majority of the 2017 season with the Charleston RiverDogs where in 91 games he hit .297/.373/.483.  He earned a promotion to the Tampa Yankees of the Florida State League on August 1.

Florial would end the season tied with Hoy Jun Park for most triples on the RiverDogs and was second in home runs behind Isiah Gilliam as well as second in stolen bases behind Park.
