Greeneville Pitching Shuts Down Pulaski

GREENEVILLE, Tenn – The Pulaski Yankees ran into some tough pitching Monday night, as four Greeneville Astros hurlers combined to shut out the Yankees, 5-0, before 1,080 fans in Pioneer Park.

The game featured an hour, 50-minute rain delay.

Pulaski (12-9) was held to three hits – two by Gosuke Katoh and one by Carlos Vidal. The loss dropped Pulaski into third place in the Appalachian Conference East by percentage points behind Princeton and Burlington, with whom the Yankees open at three-game series at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Calfee Park.
