STATEN ISLAND – There was a Bird sighting in Staten Island this week.

There has been speculation swirling around Bird regarding his injury and the seriousness of it, however, the 24-year-old appeared to be in good spirits working with the New York-Penn League club.

Bird’s time in Staten Island came to an end on Wednesday, and he is expected to begin a rehab assignment soon.
