The Mariners selected right-hand pitcher Jio Orozco right out of high school with the 14th pick in the 2015 amateur draft.
After a year, Orozco was traded to the Yankees in exchange for outfielder Ben Gamel and fellow right-hand pitcher Juan De Paula. Orozco was assigned to low A Charleston Riverdogs which was a tall task for someone as new as him.
