[Interview] RHP Jio Orozco Talks About How His Game Has Changed Over the Years

The Mariners selected right-hand pitcher Jio Orozco right out of high school with the 14th pick in the 2015 amateur draft.

After a year, Orozco was traded to the Yankees in exchange for outfielder Ben Gamel and fellow right-hand pitcher Juan De Paula. Orozco was assigned to low A Charleston Riverdogs which was a tall task for someone as new as him. He was eventually sent down to Pulaski where he developed more command for his pitch and has been steadily improving and climbing the ranks throughout the years.
