Judge, Austin Hit In Scottsdale Win

The Yankees prospects  earned another win in the AFL league after a ten-inning game against the Mesa Solar Sox. Tyler Austin, Aaron Judge, and Dante Bichette Jr. got in the game, contributing the Scorpions defense.

Austin and Judge catered to a strong outfield with Austin playing left field and Judge finding himself in right field.

The two prospects got a hit a piece, in their four at bats, while Bichette struggled to make any contact. Austin’s hit came in the bottom of the sixth when he singled on a ground ball to right field. With the next batter up, Austin stole second and eventually made it to third, but the inning ended before he could earn a run.

Bichette held his position at third base and connected with first baseman, Dan Vogelbach, for several outs.

The two teams will face each other again tomorrow at 12:35 MST, with the Scorpions as the away team.
