Late Rally not Enough in Riverdog Lost

Key Story:

Pitching again failed the Riverdogs as Brady Lail had his worst start in almost eight weeks.  Lail came into the game with only walking seven total batters in 48 innings walked three in five innings today.  He also allowed four runs on four hits while striking out six.  Lail is getting close to his regular season pitching limit so it will be interesting to see how he handles the rest of the year since there is a lot of the season left.

Captain Clutch of the Game:

Aaron Judge continues to destroy baseballs around the league.  He went two for three with another homerun.  Two RBI’s and a run round out Judge’s day who over the last ten games is hitting .333/.390/.778 and this is his third straight game with a homer.  Mr. Newman promote this man!

Golden Sombrero of the Game:

Miguel Andujar and Dustin Fowler share this award as they had identical hit less games in four at bats with three strikeouts.

Up Next:

Rookie Davis goes tomorrow against Hickory at 7 pm eastern.
