MiLB Spring Training Notes: Charleston/Tampa Notes March 30th

Pitching:

Tanner Myatt

  • Final line: 4+ IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 4 SO, 5 BB, 1 HR
  • Had trouble finding strike zone in the first, walking a few guys.
  • Gave up a home run to Nelson Gomez in the 4th.
  • Fastball looked to have good life

Anderson Severino

  • Fastball sitting 95-97 mph.
  • Changeup sitting low-to-mid 80’s.
  • Has a good feel for changeup today.
  • Walked first two hitters then struck out two to end the inning.
  • Final line: 1.2 IP, 1 H, 3 BB, 4 SO

Domingo Acevedo

  • Acevedo’s fastball is sitting between 92-93 mph.
  • Doing good at generating swings and misses.
  • Final line: 1 IP, 0 BB, 0 R, 1 SO

Janson Junk

  • Junk is having a hard time generating swings and misses.
  • Allowed 2 home runs on the day.
  • Final line: 3 IP, 6 H, 4 ER, 3 SO, 1 BB, 2 HR

Trevor Lane

  • Lane’s pitches look good, getting nasty bite on his slider.
  • Fastball sitting low-to-mid 90’s.
  • Final line: 2.1 IP, 2 H, 1 BB, 0 ER, 5 SO
