Nestor Cortes Called Up To Double A Trenton

According to today’s media notes put out by the Trenton Thunder, Nestor Cortes has been called up to join the team.

No other corresponding moves are expected as a result of Jordan Montgomery‘s big league call up, and Chad Green‘s Triple A promotion on Monday.

In one relief appearance for the Tampa Yankees, Cortes threw 4.1 innings of one run baseball. He struck out three, permitted one walk and one hit.

The 22-year old southpaw owns a career 18 – 10 record with a 2.09 ERA in the minor leagues from 2013-2017.
