Hi, what are you looking for?

Offensive Explosion in Charleston

Key Story:

Offense was the story in this one as the Riverdogs scored eleven runs off of fourteen hits and seven walks.  The Riverdogs waited to really start hitting in the 6th inning.   Charleston had good pitching for most of the season and hadn’t broken out with the sticks so this is a welcome surprise.

Captain Clutch of the Game:

There is a lot of players that could have this award as five guys had two hits. But Miguel Andujar wins it for his two for five day.  He had a triple to go along with three RBI’s.   Some think that he could become the Yankees top prospect by the end of this season.

Golden Sombrero of the Game:

No one had a really terrible day offensive as every guy had a hit but John Murphy gets it for his one for five game.

Up Next:

Severino takes the mound tomorrow looking for his first win of the seasons.
