One Win, One Lose for GCL Teams

GCL Team One:

Key Story:

This team was about rehabbing as Abiatal Avelino, Ty Hensley and Eric Jagielo all played in the game.  Hensley only went two innings and two thirds while giving up one run on three hits and a walk while striking out two batters.  Jagielo went hitless in five at bats with a stirkeout.  Avelino had the best day at the plate by going one for three with a run scored and RBI.  Problem for Avelino is he had two errors.

Bichette/Katoh Award:

Bryan Cuevas had a great game as he went three for five with a double, a triple and two RBI’s

GCL Team Two:

No one had a great game on the hitting side.  They did score five runs thou.  The pitching staff was bad at giving up runs and hits but great when they got outs as they had nine strikeouts.
