Opening Day Rained Out Again in Erie

ERIE, PA — The Trenton Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, are postponed on Opening Day Friday night at UPMC Park against the Erie SeaWolves.

Friday’s game is scheduled to be made-up as part of a doubleheader Friday May 5th at 5:05 p.m. featuring two seven-inning games.

Saturday’s ballgame now acts as Opening Day for the two teams. The anticipated starting pitcher matchup for the first game of the season has been RHP Chance Adams toeing the rubber for the Thunder against LHP Tyler Alexander. On-air coverage for the game begins at 1:20 p.m. with first pitch scheduled at 1:35 p.m. Catch all the action live online at www.trentonthunder.com.
