Pinstriped Performances – Monday, April 11, 2017

Check out the top performances across the New York Yankees farm system in the latest edition of Pinstriped Performances.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple A)

Luis Cessa – Cessa fired seven scoreless, leading Scranton to their first win of the season past the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs. Luis earned the win, struck out six, walked two and permitted six hits.

Ben Heller – Heller rebounded from a rough first outing by tossing one scoreless inning of relief. He struck out two of the three batters he faced.

Tyler Wade – Wade went 2-4 and is now hitting .467 on the young season.

Trenton Thunder (Double A)

Zack Zehner – Zehner fell a home run shy of the cycle in Trenton’s loss to the Akron RubberDucks. He scored two of the Thunder’s three runs.

Tampa Yankees (Single A Advanced)

Cody Carroll – Carroll earned his first win of the season during Tampa’s 4-3, 13 inning victory over the Fort Myers Miracle. He threw two scoreless innings, striking out four and walking one.

Charleston RiverDogs (Single A)

Diego Castillo – Castillo went 2-4 with three runs scored, a run batted in and a walk.

Trevor Lane – Lane tossed three and two thirds innings of one-hit, scoreless baseball. He earned the win, struck out two and walked none.
