Tyler Webb, RP, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple A): Webb pitched two hit-less innings of relief in Scranton’s 6-1 victory over the Buffalo Bisons. He induced four ground-outs, walked none and struck out one.
Mason Williams, CF, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple A): Williams went 3-5 with a double, walk, run scored and an RBI. He is now hitting .316/.336/.404 in 114 Triple A at bats.
Estevan Florial, CF, Charleston RiverDogs (Single A): Florial went 2-4 with a home run, triple, two runs scored and two runs batted in during Charleston’s 8-2 victory over the Hagerstown Suns.
Luis Torrens, C, Charleston RiverDogs (Single A): Torrens went 2-3 with a double, RBI, and walk. Defensively, he threw a runner out at second base and picked another one off at first base.
Kolton Mahoney, SP, Staten Island Yankees (Single A Short Season): Mahoney turned in a quality start by pitching seven innings of one run (earned) baseball. Kolton struck out eight, permitted no walks and five hits.
Welfrin Mateo, 2B, Pulaski Yankees (Rookie): Mateo went 2-4 with a home run, run scored and an RBI in Pulaski’s 5-1 loss to the Johnson City Cardinals.
