Pinstriped Performances: A Balanced Attack

Every Somerset starter had at least one hit as the Patriots manhandled Reading to open up the week. The other three affiliates were less fortunate.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (13-23): The RailRiders blew a 3-1 lead in Worcester to drop the first game of the series 4-3.

  • Star of the Game: Matt Krook – 5 IP, 9 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 7 K, 81 pitches (54 strikes). Not a particularly efficient outing from Krook, but he certainly pitched well enough to win
