Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (5-6): Scranton is having trouble with both their opponents and the weather of late. The series opener against Buffalo was postponed and will be made up tomorrow as part of a doubleheader.

Somerset Patriots (6-4): The Patriots managed just two hits as they were blanked 4-0 in Hartford.

Hudson Valley Renegades (5-5): The ‘Gades opened a rivalry week with a 5-3 win over Brooklyn thanks to some well-timed power and a crucial three innings from Edgar Barclay.
- Star of the Game: Edgar Barclay – 3 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 7 K, 44 pitches (34 strikes). After surrendering a single to the first batter he faced, Barclays struck out five in a row and stopped the Cyclones offense dead in its tracks
- Austin Wells: 2-for-3, 2 runs scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout, 1 stolen base
- Cooper Bowman: 1-for-3, 1 double, 1 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 walk, 1 stolen base
- Carlos Narvaez: 1-for-3, 1 home run (1), 1 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout. Narvaez’s solo home run in the sixth inning put the Renegades ahead for good
- Eduardo Torrealba: 2-for-3, 1 double, 1 RBI, 1 walk
- Blane Abeyta: 3 IP, 3 H, 3 R (1 ER), 3 BB, 5 K, 68 pitches (41 strikes)
- Welington Diaz: 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K, 22 pitches (17 strikes)
- Carson Coleman: 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K, 24 pitches (16 strikes). Coleman got his first save at High-A after recording five with Tampa last season


Tampa Tarpons (6-4): The Tarpons were shut down by Threshers pitching and lost 2-1 in walk-off fashion to open the week in Clearwater.
- Star of the Game: Yon Castro – 3 IP, 3 H, 1 R (0 ER), 1 BB, 5 K, 49 pitches (33 strikes). The 22-year-old was making just his third ever appearance above rookie ball, and hasn’t allowed an earned run in six innings so far this year
- Jasson Dominguez: 0-for-5, 3 strikeouts
- Anthony Garcia: 0-for-1, 3 walks. Garcia has worked a remarkable 15 walks in nine games
- Connor Cannon: 2-for-3, 1 double, 1 walk
- Luis Santos: 2-for-3, 1 double, 1 run scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout
- Ryan Anderson: 3.2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 5 K, 54 pitches (35 strikes)
- Enrique Santana: 1.2 IP, 2 H, 1 R (0 ER), 0 BB, 1 K, 27 pitches (20 strikes). Santana didn’t help his own cause, with a throwing error prolonging the ninth inning and leading to the walk-off
