As the Yankees organization bid farewell to five prospects in deadline trades, the rookie-level affiliates could not find much success on the field.
FCL Yankees (26-12): The Phillies and Yankees finished up a twice-postponed contest with the Phils winning 2-1, then the two teams played their regularly scheduled game and the Yankees again found themselves defeated 9-2.

- Luis Serna: 4.1 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 7 K. The 18-year-old has an elite 41:10 strikeout-to-walk ratio
- Yorlin Calderon: 1 IP, 5 H, 3 R (2 ER), 0 BB, 1 K. Calderon suffered his first loss of the season
- Nolberto Henriquez: 1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 1 K
- Sebastian Perrone: 1.1 IP, 3 H, 4 ER, 3 BB, 0 K

DSL Yankees (20-21): The Yanks took a 7-5 lead into the bottom of the ninth, but found themselves on the short end of an 8-7 walk-off loss to Pirates Gold.
- Star of the Game: Gabriel Bersing – 2-for-4, 1 home run (6), 2 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout. Bersing looked like he’d provided the winning runs with a two-run bomb in the top of the ninth
- Keiner Delgado: 2-for-3, 1 double, 3 runs scored, 2 walks, 1 stolen base
- Manuel Palencia: 2-for-5, 2 RBI, 1 run scored
- David Beckles: 1-for-5, 1 home run (4), 1 RBI, 1 run scored, 2 strikeouts
- Christian Zazueta: 2 IP, 3 H, 3 R (2 ER), 0 BB, 1 K
- Donys Garcia: 3.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 3 K

DSL Bombers (22-20): The Bombers had no better luck than their colleagues with Pittsburgh, losing to Pirates Black 12-4.
