Pinstriped Performances: Demolition Derby in Durham

As has been the pattern in Florida, Tampa had an abbreviated game in Daytona due to inclement weather, and Hudson Valley’s was cancelled in Wilmington as a result of rain, ending both seasons a bit short, while Scranton’s offense essentially made up for the aforementioned teams’ cancelled games.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (73-61): Scranton had monster offensive 1st and 9th innings, totaling 9 runs between the two innings, leading to a commanding 14-2 win. The win puts Scranton 1.5 games back from Durham in the East Division of the International League, tied for 2nd place with Jacksonville.
