A tight matchup between Hudson Valley and Aberdeen got out of hand in the eighth as the Renegades capped off the week in style. The Patriots kept up their solid form, and the Tarpons split a twin bill.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (19-34): The RailRiders gave up a seven-spot in the fourth and dropped the series finale 12-4 to the IronPigs.

Somerset Patriots (32-18): The Patriots recovered from an early 4-2 hole to defeat the Rumble Ponies 5-4.
- Star of the Game: Brandon Lockridge – 1-for-4, 1 home run (4), 2 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 strikeout. Lockridge hit a two-run home run in the sixth to reverse a one-run deficit, and is slugging .471 in June
- Anthony Volpe: 1-for-4, 2 strikeouts, 1 stolen base
- Josh Breaux: 2-for-4, 1 home run (10), 1 RBI, 2 runs scored. Breaux added to his team-leading home run total with his tenth of the season
- Chad Bell: 1-for-4, 1 home run (6), 1 RBI, 1 run scored. Bell is working on a three-game hitting streak and has homered in two of his last three games
- Sean Boyle: 5 IP, 7 H, 4 ER, 0 BB, 5 K, 67 pitches (49 strikes). Boyle gave up three home runs on Sunday, and has served up five combined in his last two starts, but he did get the win to move to 2-3
- Carson Coleman: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 5 K, 35 pitches (22 strikes). In eight innings at Double-A, Coleman has still allowed just a single run
- Nick Ernst: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, 9 pitches (7 strikes)
- Jose Mujica: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 0 K, 14 pitches (13 strikes). Mujica nailed down his first save for Somerset


Hudson Valley Renegades (24-26): The Renegades downed the IronBirds 11-5 thanks to a big seventh inning.
- Star of the Game: Anthony Seigler – 2-for-3, 1 home run (2), 2 RBI, 2 runs scored, 3 walks, 1 strikeout. Seigler continued his redemption tour at High-A with another big game and has lifted his average to .351
- Trey Sweeney: 1-for-4, 1 RBI, 2 runs scored, 2 walks, 1 strikeout, 2 stolen bases
- Aaron Palensky: 1-for-3, 2 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout. Palensky struck the big blow of the seventh with a two-run single
- Eduardo Torrealba: 2-for-4, 3 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout
- TJ Sikkema: 2.1 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 2 K, 48 pitches (27 strikes)
- Jhonatan Munoz: 3 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 3 K, 54 pitches (34 strikes)
- Nelson L. Alvarez: 0.2 IP, 1 H, 2 R (0 ER), 1 BB, 1 K, 17 pitches (9 strikes). Despite a shaky effort and a blown save, Alvarez took home the win

Tampa Tarpons (22-29): The Tarpons rallied late to defeat Fort Myers 6-5 in the doubleheader opener, then lost the second leg 7-1.
Game 1
- Star of the Game: Jasson Dominguez – 1-for-3, 1 home run (6), 3 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout. Dominguez’s two-run blast put the Tarpons on the board, and he also drove in their third run with a bases-loaded walk
- Ben Rice: 1-for-4, 1 double, 1 RBI
- Kyle Battle: 1-for-3, 1 double, 1 run scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout, 2 stolen bases
- Chandler Champlain: 5 IP, 6 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 82 pitches (48 strikes)
- Jack Neely: 1.2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K, 38 pitches (24 strikes)
- Danny Watson: 1.1 IP, 1 H, 1 R (0 ER), 1 BB, 1 K, 23 pitches (13 strikes). Watson got the win to move to 3-2
