New York Yankees (MLB): The New York Yankees (9-10) defeated the Kansas City Royals, 6-2 at Yankee Stadium.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A): The RailRiders (8-6) and the Buffalo Bisons were postponed due to inclement weather. Gio Gonzalez was scheduled to make the start and his opt-out is Saturday.
The game will be made up as a doubleheader on June 3. The teams were already scheduled to play a doubleheader on Saturday. Gio Gonzalez and Drew Hutchison are tentatively scheduled to start those games.
Trenton Thunder (Double-A): The Trenton Thunder defeated the Portland SeaDogs 13-10 in Portland.

Tampa Tarpons (Class-A Advanced): The Tampa Tarpons (6-10) defeated the Clearwater Threshers 8-4 in Clearwater.

Castillo now has a six-game hitting streak going and is hitting .476 over that stretch. - Dermis Garcia: 3-for-5 with 2 runs scored, a double, a home run and 2 RBIs.
The former top prospect from the 2014 international free agent class is hitting .264/.298/.491 in 14 games for the Tarpons. He has four home runs which puts him behind just Mike Ford on the organizational leaders in round-trippers. - Matt Pita: 1-for-5, 1 run scored 1 triple
