New York Yankees (MLB): 7-2 loss to the Cleveland Indians

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A): 3-1 victory over the Pawtucket Red Sox

  • Miguel Andujar – 3 for 4 with an RBI and run scored
  • Tyler Austin – 1 for 4 with a game winning walk-off home run, two runs batted in and a run scored
  • Wilkin Castillo – 2 for 3 with a run scored
  • Luis Cessa – five innings pitched, no walks, nine strikeouts, three hits and no runs allowed

Trenton Thunder (Double-A): 4 -2 victory over the Altoona Curve

  • Nick Solak – 2 for 4
  • Mike Ford – 3 for 4 with a home run, RBI, and two runs scored
  • Ryan McBroom – 3 for 4 with a RBI and run scored
  • Dante Bichette – 2 for 3 with a walk
  • Zack Zehner – 2 for 4
  • Will Carter – earned the win by firing five innings, had two walks, two strikeouts, one hit and zero runs allowed
  • Nestor Cortes – two innings pitched, one walk, one strikeout, zero hits and runs allowed

Tampa Yankees (Single-A Advanced): 9-4 victory over the St. Lucie Mets

  • Kyle Holder – 3 for 5 with a double, two RBI’s and two runs scored
  • Chris Gittens – 3 for 5 with two RBI’s
  • Tim Lynch – 3 for 4 with a home run, three RBI’s, a double and two runs scored
  • Trevor Lane – 1.2 innings pitched, one walk, four strikeouts, two hits and one run (un-earned) allowed
  • Joe Harvey – 2.1 innings pitched, no walks, no hits, no runs, four strikeouts

Charleston RiverDogs (Single-A): 3-2 loss to the Greenville Drive

  • Dermis Garcia – 1 for 3 with a double, walk and RBI
  • Rony Garcia – 6.2 innings pitched, one walk, three strikeouts, six hits and zero earned runs (3 un-earned)

Staten Island Yankees (Single-A Short Season): 5-4 loss to the Aberdeen IronBirds

Pulaski Yankees (Rookie): 8-3 loss to the Bluefield Blue Jays

  • Evan Alexander – 2 for 4 with a double, walk, stolen base and run scored

Gulf Coast League Yankees East & West (Rookie): East beat 7-6, and lost 7-8 to the GCL Yankees West

Game One

  • Raymundo Moreno – 2 for 3 with a double, walk, and run scored
  • Caanan Smith – 1 for 4 with a home run, two RBI’s, a walk, and two runs scored
  • Malvin Del Orbe – 2 for 3 with a double, and two RBI’s
  • Griffin Garabito – 3 for 4 with a home run, three RBI’s and two runs scored
  • Dario Unda – 2 for 3 with a double and RBI
  • Wellington Diaz – three innings pitched, one hit, one (un-earned) run, one walk, and four strikeouts
  • Austin Gardner – two innings pitched, no hits, no runs, no walks and two strikeouts

Game Two

  • Borinquen Mendez – 2 for 4 with two doubles, three RBI’s and a run scored
  • Jhon Moronta – 2 for 3 with a walk, RBI, and run scored
  • Terrance Robertson – 3 for 4 with a RBI and run scored
  • Oswald Peraza – 1 for 2 with a walk, two RBI’s and a run scored
  • Gustavo Campero – 2 for 4 with a home run, two RBI’s, and run scored

Dominican Summer League Yankees (Rookie): 2-4 loss to the DSL Nationals

  • Ezequiel Duran – 2 for 4 with two doubles, and two runs scored
