Flames home run was a grand slam home run in the seventh inning hit over the scoreboard in left-center field. It was the first grand slam for the Staten Island Yankees since Renzo Martin’s home run on July 27, 2014, against the Connecticut Tigers. His hitting performance outshined the defensive display he made at first base as well, making several great stretches to get the out at first. - Juan De Leon: 2-for-5, 1 run scored, 1 double, 1 RBI
De Leon’s double came in the top of the second inning when he hit a line drive that bounced t off the batter’s eye in MCU Park about a third of the way above the wall.
