On the first day of July, the Yankees affiliates went 5-4 in the nine games that were played. Scranton Wilkes-Barre got seven shutout innings from their starter and a strong performance on offense from one of their outfielders. Scranton Wilkes-Barre Railriders (Triple-A): The Railriders (47-35) started their series against the Pawtucket Red Sox with a 5-1 win.

- Ryan McBroom: 3-for-4, 1 RBI (37). McBroom is on a five-game hit streak.

- Tyler Wade: 2-for-5, 2 runs scored. Wade is 7-for-14 with four RBIs in his last three games.
- Mike Ford: 1-for-4, 1 run scored.
