- Hayden Wesneski: 5.1 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 5 BB, 4 K, 91 pitches (53 strikes). Wesneski’s command betrayed him somewhat in this one, but he didn’t do too much damage to his ERA, which now sits at 2.23

Tampa Tarpons (20-21): The Tarpons trounced Lakeland 7-0 and allowed a single hit in the doubleheader’s first leg, but that was just an appetizer. They won the second game 4-0 thanks to a no-hitter from Yorlin Calderon.
Game 1

- Yon Castro: 6 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 9 K, 87 pitches (58 strikes). Amazing that this wasn’t even the best Tampa pitching performance of the day

Game 2
- Star of the Game: Yorlin Calderon – 7 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 7 K, 83 pitches (48 strikes). Calderon was making his season debut and just his second-ever appearance in full-season ball. It’s not an official no-hitter because of the seven-inning game, but it counts for all us fans

- Benjamin Cowles: 1-for-3, 1 RBI, 1 stolen base
