The FCL Yanks are on the brink of a championship after overwhelming the Rays.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (64-56): Things initially looked promising, but the RailRiders allowed an early 7-0 lead to crumble into a 13-8 loss.
- Star of the Game: Josh Breaux – 3-for-5, 1 home run (5), 3 RBI, 2 runs scored, 2 strikeouts. Breaux’s two-run shot lengthened the Scranton lead to 6-0 in the third
- Chris Owings: 3-for-5, 1 home run (3), 2 RBI, 2 runs scored, 1 strikeout
- Ryan LaMarre: 2-for-3, 2 walks
- Matt Krook: 5 IP, 4 H, 7 R (6 ER), 3 BB, 5 K, 96 pitches (58 strikes)
- Braden Bristo: 0.2 IP, 5 H, 5 R (1 ER), 1 BB, 1 K, 35 pitches (21 strikes). Bristo took the loss
- Michael Gomez: 2 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K, 40 pitches (26 strikes)
- Matt Pita: 0.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 0 K, 4 pitches (2 strikes)


Somerset Patriots (71-46): The Patriots managed just three hits in a 5-1 loss to New Hampshire.
- Star of the Game: Anthony Volpe – 2-for-4, 1 home run (18), 1 double, 1 RBI, 1 run scored. Volpe homered for the third time this month after crushing five in both June and July
- Elijah Dunham: 1-for-4, 1 double
- Randy Vasquez: 4.1 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 9 K, 84 pitches (54 strikes). Vasquez fell to 1-6 despite a solid outing
- Barrett Loseke: 2.1 IP, 2 H, 3 R (1 ER), 1 BB, 3 K, 44 pitches (26 strikes)
- Nelvin Correa: 1.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K, 16 pitches (9 strikes). Correa made his Double-A debut
- Kaleb Cowart: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 2 K, 25 pitches (14 strikes)


Hudson Valley Renegades (64-53): The Renegades built up a 5-0 lead, then held on through the Crawdads’ late rally for a 5-4 win.
- Star of the Game: Tyler Hardman – 2-for-4, 1 home run (19), 2 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 strikeout. Hardman added to his team-leading total with a two-run bomb in the fifth inning
- Jasson Dominguez: 1-for-3, 2 runs scored, 2 stolen bases
- TJ Rumfield: 1-for-4, 1 double, 1 RBI
- Grant Richardson: 1-for-4, 1 home run (8), 1 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 strikeout
- Spencer Henson: 2-for-3, 1 home run (10), 1 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 strikeout. Henson is slugging .465 in August
- Josue Panacual: 5.2 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 3 K, 91 pitches (53 strikes). Panacual improved to 3-5 with the victory
- Kevin Milam: 2 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 2 K, 41 pitches (26 strikes)
- Nelson L. Alvarez: 1.1 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 1 K, 29 pitches (19 strikes). Alvarez earned his fourth save despite nearly allowing the game to be tied


Tampa Tarpons (56-60): Clearwater rallied in the eighth inning to send the Tarpons to a 7-6 defeat.
- Star of the Game: Connor Cannon – 2-for-3, 1 home run (3), 2 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 strikeout. Cannon has homered in two straight games
- Spencer Jones: 2-for-5, 1 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 strikeout, 1 stolen base
- Antonio Gomez: 2-for-5, 1 RBI, 1 strikeout
- Ben Rice: 1-for-4, 1 home run (8), 1 RBI, 1 run scored
- Brett Barrera: 2-for-4, 1 double, 1 run scored
- Luis Santos: 3-for-4, 1 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 stolen base
- Tyrone Yulie: 5 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 7 K, 86 pitches (57 strikes)

FCL Yankees: The Yanks jumped on the Rays early in Game 1 of the FCL Championship Series, taking a 7-2 win in the best-of-three series to move within one victory of a title.
- Star of the Game: Jared Serna – 3-for-5, 1 home run, 1 double, 1 RBI, 2 runs scored, 1 stolen base. Serna set the tone with a solo home run to lead off the ballgame
- Agustin Ramirez: 1-for-5, 1 double, 2 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 strikeout
- Rafael Flores: 2-for-3, 1 double, 1 RBI, 2 runs scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout
- Felix Negueis: 3-for-4, 1 home run, 2 RBI, 1 run scored. Negueis went deep in the second to give the Yanks a 3-0 lead
- Brock Selvidge: 3 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 4 K
- Alfred Vega: 2.1 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K. Vega got the win
- Osiel Rodriguez: 3.2 IP, 1 H, 2 R (0 ER), 0 BB, 4 K. Rodriguez was assessed a save for the length of his outing
