All the full-season affiliates picked up wins and the four teams went a collective 4-1 on Wednesday thanks to a treasure trove of quality pitching.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (48-27): A strong tag team effort from JP Sears and Nick Nelson plus a parade of singles were enough to lead Scranton past Worcester 7-3.
- Star of the Game: JP Sears – 5 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 6 K, 80 pitches (61 strikes). Sears had never pitched above Double-A, but made a statement with a sparkling first outing
- Luke Voit: 0-for-3, 1 run scored, 1 strikeout
- Estevan Florial: 1-for-4, 1 RBI, 1 run scored, 2 strikeouts
- Andrew Velazquez: 2-for-4, 2 runs scored, 1 strikeout, 1 stolen base
- Sócrates Brito: 1-for-3, 2 RBI, 2 strikeouts
- Armando Alvarez: 1-for-4, 1 RBI
- Nick Nelson: 3 IP, 2 H, 1 R (0 ER), 0 BB, 5 K, 40 pitches (27 strikes). Nelson has a respectable 3.50 ERA this season at Triple-A
- Greg Weissert: 1 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 1 K, 13 pitches (9 strikes)


Somerset Patriots (50-29): The Patriots went down early 2-0 and then roared back for a 6-2 win once Hayden Wesneski settled down and the bats took over.
- Star of the Game: Dermis Garcia – 2-for-4, 2 home runs (22), 2 RBI, 2 runs scored, 2 strikeouts. Garcia lengthened his system-wide lead in homers with two more solo shots. He’s picked it up over the last month, with his OPS rising to .761 even though he’s still not hitting for average
- Pitching Star of the Game: Hayden Wesneski – 5 IP, 4 H, 2 R (1 ER), 1 BB, 7 K, 86 pitches (62 strikes). Wesneski got into a jam in the first but was nails after that. This was by far his best outing in a Patriots uniform
- Oswald Peraza: 2-for-4, 1 run scored, 1 strikeout
- Josh Breaux: 2-for-4, 1 home run (1), 2 RBI, 1 run scored. With his first at Double-A, Breaux kept himself in the race for system home run king, as he now has 18 in total on the year
- Isiah Gilliam: 2-for-4, 1 double, 2 strikeouts. Gilliam is now riding a seven-game hitting streak
- Jesus Bastidas: 2-for-3, 1 run scored, 1 walk
- Ron Marinaccio: 3 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 5 K, 43 pitches (26 strikes)
- Zach Greene: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K, 13 pitches (8 strikes)


Hudson Valley Renegades (52-28): The ‘Gades got a strong start from Mitch Spence and held off a late Brooklyn rally to emerge with a 3-2 win.
- Star of the Game: Mitch Spence – 6 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 5 K, 95 pitches (63 strikes). Spence has an impressive 3.14 ERA over 12 starts with Hudson Valley this season
- Anthony Volpe: 0-for-3, 1 RBI, 1 strikeout
- Everson Pereira: 0-for-4, 2 strikeouts
- Austin Wells: 0-for-4, 2 strikeouts
- Anthony Seigler: 1-for-3, 1 double, 2 runs scored, 1 walk
- Andres Chaparro: 1-for-4, 1 RBI, 1 strikeout
- Oliver Dunn: 1-for-3, 1 triple, 1 run scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout
- Freicer Perez: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 0 K, 24 pitches (13 strikes). Perez completed his rehab and picked up a hold in his first appearance in full-season ball since 2018
- Trevor Holloway: 1 IP, 1 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 0 K, 25 pitches (15 strikes)
- Derek Craft: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K, 17 pitches (10 strikes). Craft has carved out a spot as the ‘Gades closer, as he’s up to four saves on the year


Tampa Tarpons (55-24): Beck Way’s best start as a pro led Tampa to a 2-1 win over Jupiter in the doubleheader’s first leg, while the Tarpons couldn’t rally late and dropped the second game 7-6.
Game 1
- Star of the Game: Beck Way – 6 IP, 3 H, 1 R (0 ER), 0 BB, 8 K, 82 pitches (59 strikes). Even more impressive than the punchouts and the zero earned runs is the zero walks, given how Way’s rookie season has gone
- Jasson Dominguez: 1-for-3, 2 strikeouts
- Trey Sweeney: 0-for-3, 1 strikeout
- Madison Santos: 0-for-3, 2 strikeouts. Santos, who’d carved up the FCL for five weeks, made his full-season debut
- Carlos Narvaez: 1-for-3, 1 home run (5), 1 RBI, 1 run scored. Narvaez’s solo shot, plus an Eric Wagaman sac fly, were all the offense the Tarpons would need
- Roberto Chirinos: 1-for-3, 1 double, 1 run scored, 1 strikeout
- Carson Coleman: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, 10 pitches (6 strikes). Coleman locked down his third save
Game 2
- Star of the Game: Luis Santos – 1-for-3, 1 home run (1), 2 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 strikeout. Santos, a 21-year-old who spent 2019 between Pulaski and Staten Island, breathed life back into Tampa with a two-run homer in the seventh that made it a one-run game
- Aldenis Sanchez: 1-for-3, 2 runs scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout, 1 stolen base
- Benjamin Cowles: 1-for-4, 1 double, 1 RBI, 2 strikeouts
- Ryder Green: 2-for-3, 1 double, 1 RBI, 1 walk, 1 strikeout
- Juan De Leon: 1-for-3, 1 home run (6), 1 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 strikeout. De Leon homered in the second for his first long ball since July 10
- Roberto Chirinos: 1-for-3, 1 double, 1 run scored
- Evan Alexander: 2-for-3, 1 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 strikeout
- Tyrone Yulie: 2.1 IP, 1 H, 2 ER, 3 BB, 5 K, 58 pitches (31 strikes). The 20-year-old has 10 strikeouts in 7.2 Low-A innings
- Carlos Gomez: 1.2 IP, 3 H, 4 ER, 3 BB, 1 K, 47 pitches (26 strikes)
- Nelvin Correa: 3 IP, 2 H, 1 R (0 ER), 0 BB, 2 K, 38 pitches (25 strikes)
FCL Yankees (16-6): The Yanks’ matchup with the Phillies was cancelled due to a COVID-19 situation.
