A rehabbing veteran helped Hudson Valley keep rolling, and Scranton battled back to even their critical series.

Somerset Patriots (60-37): The listless Patriots dropped another contest to Binghamton, 6-2.

Hudson Valley Renegades (52-45): The bottom-dwelling BlueClaws have been no match for the ‘Gades so far, as Wednesday’s matchup went HV’s way, 7-2.

Tampa Tarpons (47-50): The Tarpons preempted Thursday’s weather by playing a doubleheader on Wednesday, defeating the Threshers 6-2 in the first game before falling 6-5 in extras in the second.

- Star of the Game: Ben Rice – 2-for-3, 1 home run (6), 5 RBI, 1 run scored. Rice almost singlehandedly fueled the Tarpons offense in this game, and five of his six long balls have come in the last month
