Pinstriped Performances: Somerset doubles help save Thursday

It was not a great night in the Yankees organization on Thursday. Two of the four affiliates managed only three hits and one other affiliate had their long losing streak continue. However, Somerset prevented it from being an awful Thursday as the offense recorded five doubles in a victory. Estevan Florial (Matt Bufano)

Scranton Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (11-21): The RailRiders were held to three hits in a 4-0 loss to the Syracuse Mets. With the loss, they are now in last place in the International League East:

 Somerset Patriots (19-10): The Patriots used a five-run sixth inning en route to a 7-2 victory over the Altoona Curve.

Hudson Valley Renegades (15-14): The Renegades were held to three hits in a 7-2 loss to the Aberdeen Ironbirds.

Marcos Cabrera (John Brophy/Pinstriped Prospects)

Tampa Tarpons (13-16): The Tarpons lost to the Dunedin Blue Jays, 7-3, and they have now lost five games in a row.
