Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A): The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (36-25) took both games of a doubleheader against the Syracuse Mets.

Game One:

  • Mike Ford: 1-for-3, 1 run scored, 1 home run, 4 RBIs
    Ford and Dermis Garcia are tied for first place in the minor league system with 14 home runs.
  • Mike Tauchman: 3-for-3, 1 run scored, 1 double
  • Logan Morrison: 2-for-3, 2 runs scored 2 doubles, 1 RBI
  • Ryan McBroom: 1-for-3, 1 home run, 2 RBIs
  • Brad Miller: 1-for-2, 1 run scored
  • Raynel Espinal: 5IP 4H 3R 3ER 2BB 6SO
    Threw 61/93 pitches for strikes (66%). Espinal is now 3-2 with a 3.94 ERA in seven starts for the RailRiders versus going 0-2 with an 8.22 ERA as a reliever. In 29 2/3 innings as a starter, he has 30 strikeouts and an additional 14 strikeouts in 15 1/3 innings as a reliever.
  • Kaleb Ort: 2IP 3H 2R 2ER 2BB 2SO
    Threw 26/45 pitches for strikes. Ort is 3-0 with a 1.93 ERA in seven games in Triple-A, throwing 14 innings and striking out 22 batters.

Game Two

  • Breyvic Valera: 2-for-3, 1 run scored, 2 walks
  • Mike Ford: 2-for-3 2 runs scored 1 double, 2 walks
  • Thairo Estrada: 0-for-3, 1 run scored, 1 RBI, 1 walk
  • Mike Tauchman: 3-for-5, 3 runs scored, 2 doubles, 1 triple, 1 RBI
  • Kyle Higashioka: 2-for-5, 2 runs scored, 1 home run, 4 RBIs
  • Brad Miller: 2-for-3, 3 runs scored, 1 home run, 3 RBIs
  • Ryan McBroom: 2-for-4, 1 run scored, 1 RBI
  • Logan Morrison: 1-for-3, 1 run scored, 1 home run, 3 RBI
  • Daniel Camarena: 5IP 8H 3R 3ER 1BB 3SO
    Threw 66/98 pitches for strikes (675). Camarena is 1-2 with an XXX ERA in seven games with the RailRiders. 
  • Joe Harvey: 1IP 0H 0R 0ER 1BB 2SO
    Threw 12/18 pitches for strikes.

Trenton Thunder (Double-A): The Trenton Thunder (34-24) defeated the Erie Seawolves, 1-0.

  • Kellin Deglan: 2-for-3, 1 double
  • Rashad Crawford: 1-for-3, 1 run scored, 1 home run, 1 RBI
  • Trevor Stephan: 5IP 2H 0R 0ER 0BB 1SO
    Threw 35/56 pitches for strikes (63%). This was Stephan’s second consecutive five-inning outing, but he threw the second lowest number of pitches in a game this season.
  • Brady Lail: 2IP 1H 0R 0ER 1BB 3SO
    Threw 48/50 pitches for strikes (80%). Lail has thrown four innings of relief for the Thunder after throwing just a third of an inning for the RailRiders and 2 2/3 innings for the Tampa Tarpons.
  • Will Carter: 2IP 1H 0R 0ER 1BB 2SO
    Threw 23/39 pitches for strikes (60%).

Tampa Tarpons (Class-A Advanced): The Tampa Tarpons (27-35) defeated the Florida Fire Frogs 5-0.

  • Estevan Florial: 0-for-2, 1 run scored, 2 walks, 2 stolen bases
    Florial has three stolen bases in six games. He is hitting .300/.440/.550 with six hits, two doubles, a home run, and five walks.
  • Oswaldo Cabrera: 1-for-4, 1 run scored
  • Dermis Garcia: 3-for-3, 2 runs scored, 2 doubles, 1 home run, 2 RBIs
    Garcia and Mike Ford are tied for the minor league lead with home runs with 14. Garcia also leads the organization with 46 RBIs.
  • Diego Castillo: 2-for-3, 1 run scored, 1 double, 2 RBIs
  • Frank German: 5IP 5H 0R 0ER 3BB 8SO
  • Braden Bristo: 3IP 0H 0R 0ER 1BB 3SO
  • Greg Weissert: 1IP 1H 0R 0ER 0BB 1SO

Charleston RiverDogs (Class-A): The Charleston RiverDogs (34-29) fell to the Ashville Tourists, 3-2.

  • Brandon Lockridge: 1-for-5, 1 triple
  • Canaan Smith: 2-for-3, 1 run scored
  • Mickey Gasper: 1-fr-3, 1 RBI
  • Omar Carrizales: 2-for-4
  • Nolan Martinez: 5IP 9H 2R 2ER 0BB 2SO
    Threw 57/84 pitches for strikes (68%).
  • Jhony Brito: 2IP 2H 1R 1ER 0BB 2SO
    Threw 22/27 pitches for strikes (81%). Brito’s outing was cut short due to a 1-hour 30-minute rain delay.
  • Ron Marinaccio: 2IP 1H 0R 0ER 1BB 4SO
    Threw 26/38 pitches for strikes (68&). Marinaccio came off the injured list before the game. This was his 2019 season debut.
