Only Hudson Valley and Tampa took the field Wednesday night, and both teams witnessed sterling efforts from their hurlers.

Somerset Patriots (29-16): Somerset and Binghamton will make up their rained-out game in a twin bill tomorrow.

Hudson Valley Renegades (21-25): Matt Sauer and a barrage of early offense led the ‘Gades to a dominant 7-0 win in Aberdeen.
- Star of the Game: Matt Sauer – 7 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 6 K, 88 pitches (56 strikes). After a somewhat rough start to the year, Sauer has given up just two earned runs and struck out 19 over his last three starts
