Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (56-50): A solid pitching performance and a clutch late homer helped the RailRiders keep up their winning ways with a 3-2 win over Worcester.
- Star of the Game: Ronald Guzman – 1-for-3, 1 home run (8), 2 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 walk. Guzman’s two-out, two-run home run in the eighth inning reversed a one-run deficit
- Oswaldo Cabrera: 2-for-4, 1 RBI, 1 strikeout
- Oswald Peraza: 1-for-4, 1 strikeout

- Ron Marinaccio: 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, 17 pitches (13 strikes). The Yankees’ young starlet contributed a win – his first of the year in Triple-A – to Scranton’s playoff push
- Greg Weissert: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K, 20 pitches (11 strikes). Weissert pitched around a walk for his system-leading 15th save


Somerset Patriots (64-39): The Patriots had no trouble whatsoever with the hapless Yard Goats as they won 9-0, with each starter recording at least one hit.
- Star of the Game: Jeisson Rosario – 3-for-5, 1 home run (8), 2 doubles, 4 RBI, 2 runs scored. Rosario, who pushed his OPS above .800 with this career performance, racked up eight total bases
- Anthony Volpe: 1-for-4, 2 runs scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout, 1 stolen base. Volpe is up to 38 steals on the season
- Elijah Dunham: 2-for-4, 1 RBI, 1 walk
- Blake Perkins: 2-for-3, 1 home run (12), 1 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 walk. Perkins’ power binge continues with his sixth home run in the last month
- Clayton Beeter: 3 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 6 K, 37 pitches (25 strikes). The return in the Joey Gallo deal is off to an excellent start in pinstripes
- Barrett Loseke: 3 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, 32 pitches (23 strikes). Loseke moved to 7-2 with Wednesday’s win
- Tanner Myatt: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 K, 38 pitches (23 strikes)
- Steven Jennings: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K, 13 pitches (8 strikes)


Hudson Valley Renegades (56-47): The ‘Gades retained control over first place for the second half with a dominant 4-0 win over Aberdeen.
- Star of the Game: Trey Sweeney – 1-for-3, 1 home run (12), 1 RBI, 2 runs scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout. Sweeney is off to a somewhat slow start in August, hitting just .148
- Jasson Dominguez: 2-for-3, 1 triple, 2 runs scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout, 1 stolen base
- Juan Carela: 5.2 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K, 70 pitches (41 strikes). Carela got his first win at High-A, recovering nicely after a disastrous first start last week
- Edgar Barclay: 2.1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K, 26 pitches (17 strikes)
- Ryan Miller: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 0 K, 7 pitches (5 strikes)


Tampa Tarpons (50-52): The Tarpons got back on track with a 7-5 win over Dunedin that wasn’t as close as the score indicated.
- Star of the Game: Tayler Aguilar – 2-for-4, 2 home runs (2), 2 RBI, 2 runs scored. Aguilar, this year’s 15th-round draft selection, hit a pair of two-out solo home runs in just his fourth-ever game
- Madison Santos: 2-for-4, 1 home run (5), 1 RBI, 2 runs scored, 1 strikeout. Santos has recorded multiple hits in three out of his last four games
- Raimfer Salinas: 1-for-4, 1 home run (3), 3 RBI, 1 run scored
- Luis Santos: 1-for-3, 1 home run (1), 1 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout
- Yon Castro: 4.2 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 3 K, 79 pitches (57 strikes)
- Harold Cortijo: 1 IP, 2 H, 1 R (0 ER), 2 BB, 1 K, 37 pitches (22 strikes). Cortijo has a 3-1 record following the win

FCL Yankees (31-13): The Yanks and Phillies picked up Tuesday’s suspended game, with the Baby Bombers wrapping up an easy 9-3 win over their guests.
- Star of the Game: Rafael Flores – 2-for-4, 1 home run (1), 1 RBI, 2 runs scored. The 21-year-old, signed three weeks ago out of junior college, went deep in his first professional game

DSL Yankees (23-25): The Yanks did what the big club couldn’t do, dispatching the Mariners 5-4.
