Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A): The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (17-13) fell to the Indianapolis Indians, 4-2.

  • Mandy Alvarez: 2-for-4, 1 run scored, 2 doubles
    Alvarez has now hit safely in his last eight games and is 16-got-35 (.457) during that stretch with seven doubles. He raised his hitting line from .226/.296/.339 on May 1 to .309/.355/.454 after this game.
  • Brad Miller: 1-for-4 1 double, 1 RBI
  • Cliff Pennington: 1-for-4, 1 run scored, 1 triple

Tampa Tarpons (Class-A Advanced): The Tampa Tarpons and Fort Myers Miracle were postponed due to rain.  The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday, May 10.

Charleston RiverDogs (Class-A): The Charleston RiverDogs (19-14) defeated the Columbia Fireflies, 6-3.

  • Brandon Lockridge: 3-for-4, 2 runs scored, 1 double, 1 RBI, 1 stolen base
    This was the seventh consecutive game with a base hit for the 2018 fifth round pick. It was also his fourth consecutive multi-hit games.  His hitting line has risen from .168/.225/.347 to .227/.277/.383.  He also picked off a runner at first base.
  • Wilkerman Garcia: 1-for-3, 2 runs scored, 1 double, 1 RBI, 1 walk
    Committed a fielding error in the sixth.
  • Josh Stowers: 1-for-2 1 double, 2 RBI
  • Josh Breaux: 1-for-4, 1 double, 1 RBI
    Breaux has a nine-game hit streak for the RiverDogs, going 15-for-37 (.405) during that stretch.
  • Canaan Smith: 1-for-3, 1 double
    Smith now has a 13-game hit streak, the longest active streak in the farm system. He is 19-for-45 (.422) during that stretch with six doubles, a triple, a home run, five RBIs, and eight walks.  His season batting line rose from .214/.286/.357 to .318/.400/.482.
  • Nelson Gomez: 1-for-2
    Gomez was lifted in the sixth inning in favor of Mickey Gasper.
  • Eric Wagaman: 1-for-3, 1 double
    Eduardo Navas pitch ran for Wagaman in the seventh.

    Threw 66/93 pitches for strikes (71%).
