The Renegades loosened their grip on first place in embarrassing fashion. Scranton continues to hang around the playoff picture by a thread, and Tampa walked off as winners to even a big series.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (65-58): All the scoring was done in the first four innings in this game, in which Scranton emerged as 6-1 winners over Syracuse.

Hudson Valley Renegades (66-55): The ‘Gades suffered an embarrassing setback as they were swept by bottom-dwellers Jersey Shore in a doubleheader, 10-7 and 2-1.

Tampa Tarpons (59-61): In a game as tight as the divisional standings, Tampa prevailed over Dunedin in walk-off fashion, 4-3 in 10 innings.
- Star of the Game: Antonio Gomez – 1-for-5, 1 home run (7), 2 RBI, 1 run scored, 2 strikeouts. Gomez has homered in two straight games following a drought that extended back to July 31
- Spencer Jones: 2-for-5, 1 run scored, 1 strikeout, 1 stolen base
- Alex Vargas: 1-for-5, 1 double, 1 RBI, 2 runs scored, 2 strikeouts
- Ben Rice: 1-for-4, 1 RBI, 1 walk. Rice drove in the automatic runner with a single in the 10th to win the game
