Though his prospect stock has fallen somewhat, Deivi Garcia showed he’s still capable of the dominance he exhibited during his rapid rise through the system in 2019.

- Armando Alvarez: 2-for-3, 1 home run (13), 1 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 walk. Alvarez put the RailRiders on top with a solo homer in the seventh inning and has gone deep in two consecutive games
- Ryan LaMarre: 2-for-3, 1 run scored
- Sean Boyle: 7 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 4 K, 69 pitches (46 strikes). Boyle earned the win despite serving up three solo home runs
- Jose Mujica: 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K, 16 pitches (14 strikes). Mujica locked down his second save


Somerset Patriots (71-44): The Patriots rallied past New Hampshire for a 3-2 win.
- Star of the Game: Deivi Garcia – 6.1 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 10 K, 85 pitches (58 strikes). Garcia matched his season high in strikeouts set two starts ago, and apart from allowing back-to-back homers to start the fifth inning, he was brilliant

- Austin Wells: 2-for-4, 2 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 strikeout, 1 stolen base
- Andres Chaparro: 2-for-3, 1 RBI, 1 strikeout
- Matt Minnick: 2.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K, 31 pitches (20 strikes). Minnick picked up his third save


Hudson Valley Renegades (62-53): ‘Gades pitching held the Hickory bats mostly silent in a 4-2 victory.
- Star of the Game: Aaron Palensky – 1-for-3, 1 double, 2 RBI, 1 strikeout. Palensky’s two-run double in the sixth put the ‘Gades ahead by the winning margin
- Trey Sweeney: 2-for-4, 1 run scored
- Tyler Hardman: 2-for-4, 1 double, 1 RBI, 1 run scored, 2 strikeouts
- Juan Carela: 5.2 IP, 2 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, 80 pitches (49 strikes). Carela has alternated poor starts and good ones for the whole month of August
- Jhonatan Munoz: 2.1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 0 K, 24 pitches (16 strikes). Munoz allowed one of Carela’s inherited runners to score, tagging himself with a blown save, but also earned his fifth win when the Renegades went on to take the lead in the bottom of the same inning
- Carlos Gomez: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 0 K, 10 pitches (5 strikes). Gomez worked a 1-2-3 ninth for his third save


Tampa Tarpons (55-59): The Tarpons shut down Clearwater in a 3-0 win.
- Star of the Game: Yorlin Calderon – 3.1 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 4 BB, 6 K, 64 pitches (41 strikes). Calderon, who got his second win, has allowed just three hits and no runs in two appearances at Low-A this year, with the other one coming all the way back on May 25
- Spencer Jones: 2-for-4, 2 runs scored, 1 strikeout, 1 stolen base
- Brett Barrera: 3-for-4, 2 RBI, 1 run scored. Barrera is hitting .333
- Zack Britton: 0.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, 15 pitches (10 strikes). Britton took the mound for the first time in 2022 as he works his way back from elbow surgery
- Bailey Dees: 2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K, 28 pitches (21 strikes)
