Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (76-62): The RailRiders scored seven times in the first two innings en route to an 8-2 win over the Red Sox.

  • Star of the Game: Chris Owings – 2-for-3, 1 home run (7), 2 RBI, 1 run scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout. Owings started a six-run barrage in the second with a two-run home run, and the 31-year-old is hitting .342 with three homers this month
  • Anthony Volpe: 1-for-4, 2 runs scored, 1 walk, 2 strikeouts
  • Blake Perkins: 1-for-3, 1 double, 1 RBI, 1 walk, 1 stolen base
  • Armando Alvarez: 2-for-5, 2 RBI, 1 strikeout
  • Jhony Brito: 1.2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, 24 pitches (17 strikes)
  • Jose Mujica: 0.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, 5 pitches (3 strikes). A very quick outing was enough for Mujica to pick up his third win
  • Matt Krook: 3 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 0 BB, 3 K, 61 pitches (38 strikes)
  • Richard Rodriguez: 1.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K, 14 pitches (9 strikes)

Somerset Patriots (82-52): Jasson Dominguez picked up his first Double-A hit and scored the winning run, and the Patriots rode the arm of Clayton Beeter to a 2-1 win over Portland.

  • Star of the Game: Clayton Beeter – 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 7 K, 78 pitches (51 strikes). Beeter’s sparkling outing was his longest since the August trade
  • Jasson Dominguez: 1-for-4, 1 triple, 1 run scored. Dominguez is 1 for his first 14 since his promotion
  • Austin Wells: 1-for-4, 1 RBI, 2 strikeouts. Wells drove in Dominguez with the go-ahead run in the eighth
  • Jeisson Rosario: 2-for-3, 1 home run (11), 1 double, 1 RBI, 1 run scored. Rosario put the Patriots on the board with a solo homer in the fourth
  • Miguel Castro: 0.1 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 1 K, 17 pitches (8 strikes)
  • Carlos Espinal: 0.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, 7 pitches (5 strikes)
